Douglas Donaldson owner of Siller & Donaldson from 2019 after 30 years of service to the family business. Douglas has a talent for french polishing and cabinet making. Douglas is a family man at heart spending his free time with wife Julie and his 3 daughters often on enjoyable walks with cocker spaniel Cooper. Douglas is a keen golfer enjoying the east coast courses regularly. Douglas values his clients and is always happy to go above and beyond.
Thomas Donaldson is a co-founder of Siller & Donaldson established over 45 years ago alongside Martin Siller. Tommy is now retired but keeps his hand in helping out new owner and son Douglas. Tommy is a keen gardener in his free time alongside with Rita. Tommy played for Aberdeen FC in his youth (1960s) before turning his hand to all things furniture.

Thomas Donaldson and Martin Siller bonded over their love for antiques at Whytock & Reid house furnishers training as cabinet makers. "I was with Whystock & Reid for 13 years, and then decided to do it alone and specialise in furniture restoration. That is where my interest lay"- Thomas. We are one of Scotland's most renowned furniture restorers, frequently entrusted by the owners of castles, estates and auction houses. We bring life back into tired, neglected or even damaged antiques. We also provide in house advise on interior upholstery patterns and colour schemes.
